When to replace
- There is play in the mount window with the lock pin fitted.
- The insert shows visible wear from the footpeg teeth.
- The insert is cracked or has come out of the pocket.
Replacing it takes a moment and does not require removing the mount from the trailer. The steps are in the manual.
