02 Use

Three moves

  1. A hand slides a Pegworks mount onto the footpeg of a motorcycle standing on a trailer

    01

Slide the mount onto the footpeg

The mount is chained to the trailer floor. Slide it on so that the footpeg sits in the upper window.

  2. A hand pulls the black lever handle of a Pegworks mount fitted on a footpeg, chain clipped into the trailer rail

    02

    Pull the lever

The lever tightens the chain and pulls the bike down to the trailer floor, no tools needed.

  3. A hand inserts the lock pin through the mount and the footpeg, the chain hangs down to the trailer floor

    03

    Insert the lock

A lock pin with a split pin keeps the mount on the footpeg for the whole trip.

Questions and answers

Will the mount fit my motorcycle?

It fits every motorcycle whose footpeg is more than 35 cm above the ground, provided the footpeg is made of metal and has openings for the lock pin. If in doubt, write to us before you order.

How to measure the footpeg

What about the suspension during transport?

The bike stands on its wheels and is held by the footpegs. The chain pulls it down so that the suspension is clearly compressed, but not bottomed out. You set the tension by choosing a chain link.

Can I load the bike on my own?

Yes. You slide the mount onto the footpeg, pull the lever and insert the lock. You do not need a second person to hold the bike while tightening straps.

How do I fix the mounts to the trailer?

The set with anchors includes two floor anchors and four M10 bolts. If your trailer floor already has tie-down points, take the set without anchors.

Step-by-step installation

What wears out?

The inserts in the mount pocket. They are a replacement part, sold separately and swapped without removing the mount.
